Short version: We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform. We do not sell your data. We do not store your trading credentials or funds. We use Google Analytics for website analytics and Formspree for contact form submissions — both are disclosed below.
Optionstories is a technology configuration and automation service based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. We use TradingView (for Pine Script strategy signals) and AlgoTest (for trade execution via broker APIs) to automate rule-based option workflows for subscribers. We are not a SEBI registered entity. We operate as a technology configuration service under Technology License Agreements with individual subscribers. We are not a software developer — we configure and operate systems built on TradingView and AlgoTest.
We collect information in two ways — directly from you, and automatically through our website.

We do NOT collect: broker login passwords, trading credentials, bank account details, Aadhaar numbers, PAN numbers, or any sensitive financial data beyond what is described above.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or remarketing cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect website functionality.
By providing your WhatsApp number, you consent to receive monthly performance summaries, technology fee communications, and platform updates from Optionstories. You may opt out at any time by notifying us directly via WhatsApp or email. We will cease communications within 7 days of receiving your opt-out request.
Your personal information is stored securely. We use industry-standard practices to protect your information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or misuse. Monthly P&L data and subscriber information is stored on secured systems accessible only to authorised personnel of Optionstories.
AlgoTest API credentials provided by subscribers are stored securely and used exclusively for daily technical re-authentication. These credentials are never shared with third parties and are deleted immediately upon termination of the Technology License Agreement.
Please be aware that no method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
By using our website, you acknowledge that data may be transferred to and processed in the United States by our third-party service providers (Google Analytics, Formspree, Calendly). These transfers are governed by the respective privacy policies of those services.

We retain your personal data for the duration of your Technology License Agreement and for a period of 3 years thereafter for compliance and record-keeping purposes. Upon your written request following termination, personal data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law (such as income tax records).
Google Analytics data is retained for 26 months as per Google's standard retention settings. Formspree submissions are retained as per Formspree's data retention policy.
Our platform is intended for adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will notify active subscribers of any material changes via WhatsApp with at least 14 days notice before the changes take effect. The date of the latest revision is shown at the top of this page.
